SMS or MMS (including an image) messages are charged in “segments” of 160 characters. If a message includes one or more emojis, that message is charged in segments of 67 characters.
Does the monthly subscription cost include volunteers sending messages from SwipeRed?
Friend-to-Friend messages (email, text, direct messages or call) are included in the Pro and Enterprise subscription. When a volunteer sends a Peer-to-Peer email, direct message or calls, there is no additional cost. There is a charge for a Peer-to-Peer text.
What are Outreach Credits?
The Buzz360 Platform and the SwipeRed relational app have many methods for you to reach your target audience. Many are free with the subscription. Peer-to-Peer Text, Broadcast Text and Broadcast Email use mix and match "outreach" credits. A certain number of outreach credits are included with your subscription. Once the included credits are used up, you can buy more. 1 Credit = 1 SMS, 3 Credits = 1 MMS, 1 Credit = 50 Emails.
What is a text "segment"?
Message segments are how the SMS industry counts messages. When SMS messages are sent to the mobile carriers they are sent one segment (160 character message segment) at a time. Your message can consist of multiple segments.
What are my billing options and when will I be charged?
The Pro and Enterprise are charged monthly. If you prefer to pay annually you will receive a 15% discount. The Essential plan is paid annually.
